Hello from Wrightsville Beach, NC. This was the wrong place to be on a weekend. I have been here before and remembered it as

a pleasant experience, it must have during the week. Hoards of boat traffic in the anchorage area but the strong and unemployed will survive till Monday. Waiting out another front so will probably stay here until Tuesday or Wednesday. Not to many places to hide until I get to Beaufort so staying put.

Surviving well without AC as we have a nice steady breeze off the Ocean, just over there way. Gonna make a town trip this afternoon if the rain holds off long enough.

If you want to know why I do not have a cute little doggie on board and instead keep company with a quiet, self tending Kat, I offer proof of how dogs on board control your life. Yesterday this caring gentleman made 3 trips ashore to allow his two, count em (2), labs relieve themselves. This trip in the rain. In the second picture, as soon as the dogs saw the beach they bailed out just about flipping the dinghy. I'll scoop the liter box thank you.
