Hello from beautiful downtown Norfolk, Va. We pulled in yesterday afternoon and must say mighty glad to be here. We are spending a couple of days at Waterside, which is located right in downtown Norfolk. Shopping, restaurants and all the waterfront attractions are either here or within walking distance.

I met up with my good friends, Tom and his lovely wife Donna last night and tonight I went to their house for a quiet, delicious dinner (in subdued lighting). I will be moving Papillon into Lilly Creek, behind their house Saturday. I will be spending a little time here before up into the northern end of Chesapeake Bay for the Summer.

Their is an unbelievable sail boat moored across from me here at waterside. It is 152 feet in length and probably wider than my boat is long.
