Hello from soggy downtown Chesterfield. It has been raining pretty much for a week now, in Annapolis due to a stalled Low Pressure area just to the south of us. It usually backs in at night and blows and rains like hell for about 2 hours so I decided to move. I had been wanting to get to Chestertown anyhoo and here I am. While coming up the Chester River I noticed an unusual vibration that got worse with higher power settings. So I decided to pull off in Langford Creek (they have a yard with travel lift in case I needed it) for the night and check it out. Turned out I had a line wrapped around the prop. I must have picked it up in Annapolis
that last night during the storm. Wednesday I decided to finish the 12 mile run to Chestertown in the rain. I decided to go into the Chestertown Marina to let Ruby have some dock time. She hasn't been off the boat since Deltaville and has been getting cranky lately. Like Kat PMS. We will stay probably until Sunday. They are having a jazz fest here Friday and Saturday and it should be worth the stay. We are heading to Baltimore next week.
