Hello from  Spa Creek in beautiful downtown Annapolis.

For those of you who have maybe caught it on the news Annapolis has suffered through record flooding as a result of Isabel. The downtown waterfront area, a special place to Annapolis visitors, is under water.

Hopefully, clean up can begin as the flood waters seem to have subsided late this afternoon. As soon as the water dropped below the docks I removed my lines (seventeen of them) and Ruby and I headed back out into the creek and dropped anchor. It is flat calm out here tonight with no wind. After 12 hours of

non stop wind it seems strange.

I check with Tom (in Norfolk) tonight and except for no power they are doing ok.

Fortunately when living in a boat the two things you never worry about is floods and power outages.
