Hello from  Spa Creek in beautiful downtown Annapolis.

Saturday morning, the calm after the storm. Here is a shot of Spa Creek this morning with fresh sunshine poking its nose into our face,

Ruby is out soaking up this sun,

and the Captain is below churning out a loaf of bread that would make Martha Stuart proud,

yes fall means the return to fresh baked bread. No bread machine for this macho dude. All by hand. Sticky,

gooey, flour flying everywhere. This is a cheese and almond loaf. BLT's for lunch today.

I posted some pictures on the web this morning of the high water in the marina. I understand the pictures of downtown Annapolis and the Naval Academy made the national news. I haven't ventured to the downtown area yet. Maybe later  today. They need to get the Starbucks cleaned up and open first.
