Once again we
are awakened by the sun poking its way into the nest of the captains cabin.
Ruby has
spent the night curled at my shoulder seeking my warmth as the temperature
dipped into
the 40's last night. (Winter time by Mississippi standards.) The heat from the
boiling
water, as I prepare my morning coffee, gently warms the closed cabin. Later we
move to the
cockpit to seek the warmth of the sun and sip the hot coffee and take in
another day.
I sit in awe as Annapolis awakes and think of how lucky I am. Once again
I will spend
the day at my leisure, far away from the disturbances that we to often view
as life. My
life has become very simple and as I grow older I find simple is best.

just glad I don't live in a trailer "
