Yep still hanging out in Annapolis. Have got rather comfortable since the storm and didn't want to give up my spot. The boats are filing in daily for the Boat Show which starts Thursday, and anchoring space is at a premium. I have been spending the days working on the boat, always something, and doing my chores. Annie came up for a visit and we even managed a side trip to Baltimore and visited the Aquarium. We managed to get in a nice waterfront lunch before heading back to Annapolis, in traffic. I sure don't miss the driving. These days I either ride a bus, ride my bike, or walk. We checked out several of the restaurants and spent a lot of time beside the heater. It was in the 40's, at night the whole time she was here. Again the ole force 10 heater came through and keep the crew warm.
I have even managed to work on a few outboards to help out some of my new friends. Usually I am paid with an invite to dinner. Right up my alley. Let me tell you the food is great. I should be leaving after the show probably Monday. Will be heading for Portsmouth, VA to spend some time with Tom and Donna and the Portsmouth crowd. My daughter Lori will be hooking up with me in Portsmouth. She needs some daddy time so we arranged for a VA visit. I am really looking forward to seeing her.
More later.
