Hello from sunny but still cold Georgetown, SC. We had a smooth trip down the lower end of the Wacamaw River. Even managed to sail part of the way. The 15-20 mph winds made for a chilly ride and I found myself having to add extra clothing to keep warm. I think I have just about exhausted my supply of warm clothing. I found it helps a little to visualize the warm tropical breezes and clear water in Key West. The water here looks like chocolate syrup. They say it is due to the cypress trees, they say. It is what gives all the boats the ICW mustache from the chocolate flavored bow waves.
Georgetown is home to the Piggly Wiggly that serves up chicken's feet in the meat department. I plan on riding my bike over in the morning and stocking up. You can never have enough chicken's feet. Great snack. They also have an awesome grave yard with a lot of old dead people. It is a history lesson to walk through this place.
