We have
arrived in Beaufort (Bo'fort) North Carolina and have been enjoying the
tranquility and fine hospitality of this great boating community. From its
quaint restaurants to unique shops and Maritime Museum it is a pleasant place
to lay over for a few days. I have been taking the time to, to take in the
ceremonies for President Regan on the tube.
The
engine is operating more near normal with the repairs I made prior to leaving
Swansboro. This is a good thing and hopefully it will not give us any more
problems before reaching Portsmouth.
Our
next stop will be New Bern, NC which is down the Neuse River and a bit out of
the way but a place I have always wanted to visit and now is the time and
place.
