Spent the weekend in St Augustine and trying to keep out in front of a coooollllll front headed for Port Orange yesterday.  Headed out this morning before first light. As we came under the Port Orange bridge we were met by wave after wave of Pelicans taking off from their roost near the bridge. It was something to see so many of them fly inches off the water, in squadron like formation. It is so peaceful being on the water early in the morning with little activity to disrupt mother nature.

Later this afternoon a Dolphin leaped out of the water along side the cockpit and gave me a good soaking by slapping his tail as he went back into the water. Just another day in Paradise.

We are in Coco Beach tonight and will make Vero Beach tomorrow. Probably stay there for a couple of days.
