My guess is everybody is out doing their Christmas Shopping. I
spent several days in Vero Beach and dropped my dinghy off and headed to Ft
Pierce. The dinghy is getting retrofitted with a sail and all the necessary equipment
to sail her. Also getting a new rub rail. The dinghy's are built in Vero Beach
so she is in the capable hands of Mark Johannsen the builder of Trinka boats.
I made the short trip to Ft Pierce to meet up with Dave and Donna
and anchor in Faber Cove. Dave and I will drive to Vero when the dinghy is
ready and bring it back in his truck. Weather permitting I will head to Lake
Worth on Tuesday and hopefully Miami by Wednesday or Thursday. Was treated to
some of Donna's great cooking while in Ft Pierce. Dave and Roo (Ruby's kat
friend) will be heading to the Bahamas next week.
We hope to be in the Keys by next weekend.
