Just a quick update on our progress. We arrived in Fort Pierce
Thursday and laid over until Monday. We had a great visit with Dave, Donna and
Roo and the new kitten, Baby Roo. We also managed to buy a vehicle, Donna's
trusty Isuzu Rodeo, and move it to Palatka on Sunday so it will be there when
we finally get there. I appreciate all their help it getting that done.
We move the 15 miles to Vero Beach on Monday after Breakfast with
Dave at "Dave's Diner", no relation. Spent the day in Vero doing town
stuff, grocery etc. Made the 70 mile run today to Titusville. Only took 12
hours. Tomorrow we head for Daytona Beach and then on to St Augustine, where we
may lay over for a day or two before heading down the St Johns River in
Jacksonville, to the thriving metropolis of Palatka.
The weather has been cooperating on this end of the trip so far.
It was rather miserable on the run from Miami to Fort Pierce.
Hope all you Land Lubbers are enjoying your transition to summer
and all the fun in store for us this year.
