Wasting away not in Margaritaville but in Pensacola, FL. Yes we finally got underway despite ourselves. We made it almost a mile before we went aground in Marsh Lake but managed to get off and keep underway, it was toooooo early to think right.

Spent the first night in Pirates Cove in Alabamastan. We ashore and dined on one of the finest greasy hamburgers you can digest. Ruby doesn't know what to think about not having a dock to explore but did ok today. We stopped about 10 miles further on in Pensacola to visit with some old Island Packet friends. Spent the day with them and will resume our run to Destin tomorrow. Weather has been beautiful so far. Ruby explored the other boat we tied up to but did not get off the boat or attempt to jump ship. A good sign.

Having a problem with internet access, can't get cell phone and computer to talk again. Will work on it but email may be sporadic until I can figure it out.
