Hello

Have ventured as far north as Vero Beach, where I decided to stop for a couple of days and rest up, get groceries and work on the auto pilot. The old autopilot has began to make some strange noises and I did finally get out the new unit and set it up for use. Besides I don't want to overwork myself now do I. I've got some grassid growing on deck for Ruby. We picked it up in Fort Myers and soon she will have some grass to munch on.

I stopped in Vero several times when I cruised this area in the early nineties. It is a very boater friendly place, with inexpensive moorings and good public transportation to town.

Tomorrow I will leave for Coco Beach and then St Augustine where I will probably spend a couple of days. Hopefully the farther north I go it will start to cool off a little. The days are rather warm but the nights are still pleasant, even with out air conditioning. I am probably getting use to not having air since I've pretty much been out of it for about a month now.
